8 balls between us now released!
The eagerly awaited release of the Hustlers 2nd Foot tapping records album '8 balls between us' is finally here. Copies of this CD are available at all Hustler gigs as well as through this website (£10 at gigs, £10 plus P&P online) A preview CD containing several of the tracks was sent to several top Rock n Roll DJs several months ago, and at the recent (May) Hemsby weekender 'Action speaks' was played prime time on Saturday night in the main hall to a packed dance floor. Del Richardson has been regularly spinning several of the tracks on his Tuesday night Rockin' show on Radio Caroline. Bass player Al commented,'It's taken a good while to record, but we're all pleased with the end result!'
The next recording project (EP: Dodgy deals & classic cons volume 1- on Riddo records) is already in development and the release date is expected to be around September time. More details will follow!

8 Balls between us CD release
All 12 tracks for '8 balls between us' are now recorded and mastered. Photographs for the cover design have been taken as well as all the sleeve notes etc. The Master has now been handed to Foot tapping studios' Clive Duffin. A release date will follow a short time later and will be posted here first!
Ahead of its release, 2 of the tracks, 'Bad things' and 'A letter from Mae' featured on Good Rockin' tonight, the Radio Caroline show (Sky 0199 6pm-9pm every Tuesday) with DJ Dell Richardson in February. Some of the rockin DJs have copies, and both these songs are proving popular with dancers round Britain , hitting the right chord with dancers at the shake rattle and roll weekender in yarmouth during march.
New songs for a new set and a new CD!
The band has a period ahead where more than a dozen songs will be rehearsed and feature in future live sets. 2 of the new stock were given their debut at Carshalton on March 7th and were well received. There's a good mix between covers and originals, some of the covers being originally performed by the like of Billy Fury and Elvis Presley. Despite Martin owning a recording desk, the band has not been on the ball when it comes to having CDs available at gigs, but that's all set to change this year. There are plans to release a six tracker in as little as two month's time on the Riddo records label. This would be in addition to '8 balls' and would only be available from the band at gigs and a few Djs. The songs will all be different to those on 8 balls. The plan is then for a new six tracker to be released every year that would run in a series. The provisional title is 'Dodgy Dealings and Classic Cons - Volume 1'. The price is expected to retail at no more than £5. More news as it happens…..

Dat Darn Doggie Did it!
Wacky DJs the 2 Hound dogs have been approached by Foot tapping records to put together a compilation of their favourite Rock n Roll tracks. This is currently being worked on and they're going to feature the track written for them by the Hustlers, '2 hound dogs' which will also be on '8 Balls'. In addition, popular club stroller 'Give me you heart tonight' performed by Martin Riddington is also planned to feature. A second hustler track is in the offing. Titled 'Doggy did a doo doo', it's a 'novelty' record that was spun by the two hound dogs at March's 'Shake rattle and roll' weekender in Yarmouth for the first time! The song has a 'Green onions' style stroll beat and is an instrumental………….save for a few vocal interludes that will have some laughing, and others sighing and shaking their heads!
